Thanks to the commitment of the deaf community over the last ten years, telephoning has become a legal right in France, enshrined in the Digital Act of 2016.

Since October 2021, the deaf have therefore three hours of remote interpretation included in their monthly phone package. How has being able to telephone, in their language, changed their lives? Can the current service be improved?
Our investigator Philippe Guyon meets the users of these telephone relay centres in their daily lives but also at work, to see if the system as it currently exists meets all their needs…
