ITALY, HISTORY SEEN FROM ABOVE
Director(s): Adila BENEDJAÏ-ZOU, Roland THERON, Jean-Philippe URBACH Contact
There is nothing quite like looking at a country’s past from the skies in order to discover the traces its history left on the landscapes and its people. It helps us appreciate the strong ties forged over the centuries between the cities and the populations of the Italian peninsula.
A geographical immersion into the country’s history by stepping out of the contemporary frame that often limits our views and our thinking. In each episode, a historian will take us into the skies and back in time…to unveil Italy’s history as told by the land that unrolls before our eyes.
