It’s here at last: ecology and its share of troubles in people's lives! Plunging them into deep reflection and questioning, doubts and intense feelings. But they have yet to discover that. We're in Joigny, a quiet town on a human scale, an hour by train south of Paris. In this beautiful place surrounded by nature, the new series “Meltdown” invites us to observe the seeds of their eco-torments.

* * *
Our documentary series follows the inhabitants of Joigny and above all, our 10 characters, throughout the seasons in their daily struggle with their convictions and their actions.
Among them are Mathilde and Jade, both 13 and great fans of Greta Thunberg. They'd love to change the world but it’s not that easy.
They both live in Joigny, this town of quiet rurality and city dwellers craving a green environment and ecological coherence. Mathilde and Jade are tormented figures among the cast of characters of “Meltdown”, the story of yet another climatic overheating…that of our brains.
