This 38-year-old woman has followed the “Indignados” (anti-austerity) movement, has campaigned in the Federation of the Deaf of Valencia, has been interested in politics, but couldn’t identify with any of the traditional parties.
It was only when she discovered Podemos that she felt it was possible to bring about a change in politics. Pauline Stroesser follows Pilar in her work and questions her about the positioning of the deaf, at the crossroads between associative activism and political commitment.
