In the deaf community, cochlear implants have always been subject to heated debates.
Beyond this particular discussion – and after having given the floor to those who made the choice of having implants - the team from “L’Oeil et la Main” was keen on pursuing the topic further.
This time, we’ll be speaking in particular to those who’ve made the decision to be operated again in order to have their implant removed or those who quite definitely decide not to use it. Why did they make this choice? What are the consequences in their social, personal and professional life?

AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING: French s.t. version only.
