YUGOSLAVIA, ORIGINS OF A WAR
Director(s): Krzysztof TALCZEWSKI – Writer(s): Jean-michel MEURICE, Krzysztof TALCZEWSKI, Marie-claude VOGRIC Contact Print page
Using archive and unpublished material, “Yugoslavia : Origins of a war” takes us back to the beginning of the 20th century, with the creation of Yugoslavia, the Second World War, the arrival of Tito and his federal “model”.
A model that started to collapse when its founder died.
From the early 1980s, frictions appeared with the rise of nationalism and that of local leaders in the various republics, leading to a “civil” war within Europe and the destruction of a state.
“Yugoslavia : Origins of a war” is an essential aid to understanding this dramatic chapter in history.
