Is sign language universal?
It’s a question that many hearing people ask themselves. The answer is not quite that simple: no, sign language is not universal, but... there is a kind of universality in sign language!
To better understand, let's attend the Clin d'œil Festival which brings together deaf people from all over the world and watch the adaptation of a play from French sign language to the "international signing". We’ll discover the tremendous communication potential that lies dormant in each of us, and that the deaf manage to reveal with their language.

AVAILABLE FOR SCREENING: original French (commentary, sub-titles, signing)
