"CODA", a well-known acronym for "child of deaf adult". It is also the title of the remake of the French film "« La famille Bélier »", which has just won 3 Oscars in 2022 and thus throws a spotlight on these children.

Beyond the clichés, the position of the CODAs - in between two different relationships to the world at large - remains very particular. Aboard their van, questioning their own relationship deaf-mother-and-hearing-daughter, Sandrine and Anais embark on a road trip to meet other CODA.

Thus emerges an intimate and spontaneous conversation, bringing to the fore what hearing children have never dared to say to their deaf parents...
