Qamar left Pakistan to escape the discrimination he suffered because of his deafness. He had to leave his family.

But once he arrived in France, another ordeal began for him – that of getting his papers. He could not write nor did he master Pakistani sign language. He never went to school.

We follow Qamar in his daily life, supported by those who help him to preapre for his asylum application. This film is the story of his life as it unfolds before our eyes.
