Sign-singing, relying on the performer's hands, body, and facial expressions, is an increasingly popular art.
An art form that speaks to everyone in a language known to few. So little known that, from time to time, a sign signing performance hits the headlines: although acclaimed by the general public, it is decried by the deaf community which does not recognize their language.
But far from being a factor of division, sign singing can be a great platform of exchange between deaf and hearing culture.

Laurent Valo, himself a sign singer at times, sets out to meet deaf and hearing people who have taken up sign signing with a passion!

AVAILABLE FOR SCREENING: original French (commentary, sub-titles, signing).
