Our documentary series follows the inhabitants of Joigny and above all, our 10 characters, throughout the seasons in their daily struggle with their convictions and their actions.

The dream of the countryside for some, the reality of the earth for others. And also… the idea of tranquility and ecological coherence? Not so sure. Inevitably, not everyone sees “good eco-responsible behaviour” in the same way. Climate torment unhinges individuals, but also shakes up life in society, even in small circles.
Mathilde and Jade, 13, are fans of Greta Thunberg. They’d like to change the world but it’s complicated. They live in Joigny, 10,000 inhabitants, a rural town an hour by train south of Paris, attracting urbanites in quest for nature and ecological coherence. Mathilde and Jade are the tormented protagonists of this story of overheated climate…and tempers.
