TUSCANY, THE TIMES OF THE RENAISSANCE
Director(s): Olivier LE HELLARD – Writer(s): Olivier LE HELLARD Contact Print page
Between the 14th and 17th centuries Michelangelo, Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci or Raphael, the greatest Italian painters and sculptors, were the protagonists of a new artistic movement: the Renaissance.
Florence was considered to be the cradle of this fertile period, a period which saw artists innovating in all areas. The documentary takes us on a journey in the footsteps of the Renaissance movement to visit some of the most beautiful architectural achievements, the most outstanding museums or to discover craftsmanship that continues to take its inspiration from the know-how of that period.
Between Arezzo and the Tyrrhenian coast, along the Arno, passing through Anghiari, Florence, Impruneta and the Chianti region, each stage of our journey sheds light on a particular facet of the Renaissance.
