In 2006 and 2007, soprano Natalie Dessay sang two major roles in operas by Gaetano Donizetti.

In December 2006, at the Paris Opera, she was Lucia in "Lucia di Lammermoor" and in January 2007 at Covent Garden in London, she sang Marie in "La fille du régiment".

She tells us about her approachto each of these challenging roles in two separate documentary films and "narrates" the story in an off commentary in the first person, to many extracts of her performance.
