They are between 9 and 12 years old, deaf, and most of them experience their first summer camp. And not just any old camp!

Close to Bratislava, in Slovakia, 70 deaf children gather from 17 different countries. It’s an opportunity for them to cross borders… geographical, linguistic and cultural borders. A way to open up to the world. Pauline Stroesser has immersed herself in the daily life of this 100% sign language camp and discovers how - through workshops and leisure activities – the children construct their identity as deaf people.

AVAILABLE FOR SCREENING: original French (commentary, sub-titles, signing)
