Twenty years after the genocide that claimed the lives of 800,000 Tutsis in Rwanda, many criminals live undisturbed in Europe today - among them, three members of the clergy who have been sentenced to life imprisonment by the Rwandan courts or the International Criminal Tribunal in Arusha for their active participation in the massacres.
They live in France, officiate as priests in their parishes and had been welcomed by various Dioceses upon their arrival via veritable exfiltration channels established by the religious authorities in Rwanda, DRC and Kenya.
This film returns to the scene of genocide retracing the journey of these three clergymen and trying to understand how they were involved in these terrible events. The actions and personal stories of these three men throw into question the responsibility of the institution church itself.
