For a whole year, we were allowed to film the teachers at the « Collège Doisneau » and the « Lycée Jean Macé"– in calss and as they prepare the lessons, or with their colleagues. Both high schools are part of the public education sector in France
We were given access to the classrooms, the teachers’ room, to parents’ meetings, discussions with students, work groups with colleagues.
Every day, teachers need to come up with ideas and solultions in order to continue passing on the knowledge in their field of expertise to their students. Sharing their day-to-day experience with them, offers us a better understanding of their profession and of the obstacles they face.

Everyone talks about the crisis situation in public education, but sharing the daily reality of teachers highlights the challenges education has to meet today.
