ANTON DVORAK: SYMPHONY no. 9 - FROM THE NEW WORLD

Director(s): Stéphane AUBE – Writer(s): Stéphane AUBE   Contact Contact   Download Print page

The Symphony "From the New World" is the last of nine symphonies composed by Anton Dvorak, and the first written on the American continent in 1893.
It is probably one of the most famous symphonic works in the world.

Addressing himself to an audience of all age groups, Jean-Francois Zygel speaks about music with clarity and simplicity – turning all of us into music lovers.
In his very own style, Jean-Francois Zygel explains how the symphony develops and how it is constructed, movement by movement.
