Ten women in ten different countries and cultures are about to begin a new chapter of their lives. They were born in the ‘70s when a dynamic movement for equality gave women equal rights, access to education and jobs. Today, they are in their forties, have a greater choice, better opportunities. Or do they? They are French, Japanese, Tunisian, Chinese, Russian or American. Their individual life stories are an indicator of the progress achieved in just one generation. But how do you enjoy a rewarding career without sacrificing personal aspirations? And where do the men fit in?

“WOMEN, KEEPING THE WORLD TURNING" is a journey through a world where women have the same or better degrees and diplomas as men, a world in which almost half of the active work force are women. Women have become actors in all walks of life and they are tangible proof that the world is changing… that THEY are changing the world.
