Mother Teresa to be made a saint on 4 Sept. 2016!

Mother Teresa has been venerated, but also criticized for her radical position. She died in 1997 at the age of 87 leaving behind a powerful congregation - the Missionaries of Charity. Her order is still active in over 130 countries and occupies a privileged position in the humanitarian field. Since the 1980s, the organisation’s work, its management and views on a number of issues have been surrounded by controversy. What role does the order play today? Does it still follow the precepts of Mother Teresa?

The film focuses on her legacy and the work of the Missionaries of Charity. From the Kaligat hospice to the Shishu Bhavan orphanage, from London to Paris, former volunteers or those who have worked alongside Mother Teresa share their thoughts and experience.
While shedding light on the merits of charity work, their testimony raises the question whether such radical faith is still compatible with the desire to help those in need? Can you be of service to mankind by serving God completely, but also blindly? This kind of deep mystical commitment obeys its own rules, but it may give the impression that it ignores human realities.
