New Zealand seems like a small version of Europe in the Antipodes and like one giant farm with three million inhabitants and some 45 million sheep. Wayne Baryman is a road haulier, crossing the country with a cargo of four hundred sheep to be delivered to the port of Napier on the Northern island.
Wayne’s job – and those of all the other ‘wool truckers’ – is to keep running smoothly the vital link between isolated breeding farms, slaughter houses and the strategic places with access to the world’s great export markets. Wayne and his friends introduce us to the country of the famous ‘All Blacks’!
