Cancer has become the n° 1 burden of industrialised countries today. In 1971, U.S. President Nixon launched a “War on Cancer” aimed at eradicating the disease. Over three decades later, after billions of dollars invested in research, we have become better at prevention, but cancer cases are rising.
An ambitious documentary that takes stock of the situation - a story set against the backdrop of international political ambition. Setting obstinate research against cruel statistics, scientific adventure against commercial rivalry.
