In the heart of the scorched Andalusian landscape, the Alhambra – one of the most beautiful examples of Islamic Art in Europe – receives two and a half million visitors a year. They come to discover and enjoy the enchanting Arabic gardens. Every day at dawn, some twenty Andalusian gardeners come to work in these magical gardens. They are the sons, grandsons and great grandsons of other gardeners and they do their job in time-honoured fashion – just as it has been done for the past 700 years.
