The year 2000 is going to be crucial for Alain Prost. The quadruple F1 world champion has exchanged his narrow seat in a formula one car against the more uncomfortable seat at the head of the team bearing his name: Prost Grand Prix. After some disappointing and even mediocre seasons, Prost relishes the challenge: a new car and two new drivers, F1 veteran Jean Alesi and young German champion Nick Heidfeld. In his office at the new company headquarters on the outskirts of Paris, no trophies of his countless victories, no souvenirs… except one: a miniature copy of Ayrton Senna’s helmet. The original, offered to him by Senna, is at his home. “He’s been important to my life and career, even if things haven’t always been easy between us. I would have liked him to drive one of my cars…”.
