French classical radio “Radio France” sponsored a special operation in December 2000, inviting 600 young people from music academies all over France to spend a day in Paris attending two concerts and one rehearsal. Many of them come from small towns and have never attended a performance with a large orchestra. To them, this is a “première”, their first meeting with a world they intend to inhabit one day…
