Composer Luciano Berio has influenced has left his mark on 20th century music. A member of the ‘avant-garde’ of the 1950’s, he contributed to transform our musical world. For his 75th birthday, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France has invited him as guest conductor and composer. It gives us an opportunity to “re-visit” some of his major works such as ‘Sinfonia’ and to understand the full reaches of the composer’s inventive spirit.
