Using archive resources gathered over a year, it covers and analyses the main staging-posts in South African history : the Boer war, the establishment of racist procedures and the legalisation of the Apartheid system.
From the bloody repression of Black Revolt, the reaction of the international community, to the release of Nelson Mandela and the demise of Apartheid.
The film's conclusion looks towards the future: what will South Africa look like in the years to come?
